Former Health Minister under the erstwhile John Mahama administration has charged the media to name and shame politicians and political parties who engage in electoral violence.
According to him, he finds it disheartening when the media is unable to point to individuals or political parties at the forefront of electoral violence.
Speaking on TV3, monitored by newsgogh.com, the member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) 2020 campaign team believes if the media is able to name and shame troublemaker by not roping in every person, it will go a long way to deter others from formatting trouble.
“I think the media must begin to name and shame those involve or at the centre of the violence” he said.
He noted that the just ended voters registration exercise recorded some pockets of violence, taking the shine off the registration exercise.
The opposition NDC has cause to blame the governing NPP for the violence that characterized the whole process of registration.
