General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party, John Boadu has advised aggrieved party faithfuls to resort to dialogue and not noise making in order to have their grievances addressed by the party executives.
His comments follows a protest by some aggrieved NPP supporters from the Bekwai Constituency who say they smell a plot by the leadership of the party in Bekwai to deny their choice of candidate a chance to contest.
Coming all the way from the Ashanti Region to the capital amidst dancing and drumming, the angry supporters say their is a scheme to have first deputy speaker of parliament, Joe Osei Owusu to run unopposed.
But speaking on Accra based Okay Fm, John Boadu said it was rather unnecessary for the supporters of Kwasi Amofa-Agyemang, to petition the headquarters in such a manner.
According to him, the party has no plan to deny any right standing member of the party the opportunity to contest in the party’s upcoming primaries.
