The GFA presidential polls is heading for a runoff as none of the five candidates was able to secure the 50+1 votes required to win the race.
After counting at the College of Physicians & Surgeons in Accra, frontrunner Kurt Okraku pulled 44 votes while his main rival George Afriyie garnered 40 votes.
The rest, Fred Pappoe, Nana Yaw Amponsah and Amanda Clinton had 6, 27 and 0 votes respectively.
The runoff will be contested by the four contestants who managed to secure votes.
But Mr. Pappoe has opted to drop out of the competition making a three horse race.
Amanda Clinton is also out of the race.
